This blog started as a forum for me to share my experiences working for NewYorkIsCalling in the summer of 2011.  Over the course of that summer, NYIC’s mission of “living for the good of the city” came to mean a lot to me, so I’ve decided to stick with it.

I seek to courageously pursue this objective through an attitude of service and compassion, tenacious  love, and boldness deeply rooted in reasoned conviction.  I fail often, so I fall hard.  But it is a perfecting process and a necessary prerequisite to the kind of person I wish to be, so I continue to fall forward in a reckless pursuit of wisdom.

As personal blog, this space will cover a variety of topics, including faith, travel, history, and reflections on personal experiences.  By writing all of this, I hope to better process the thoughts and passions that explode like fireworks in my racing mind– and start piecing it all together.
